Does Bethenny Frankel even know that she’s in a “feud” with former bestie Carole Radziwill? Carole can’t type the Bethenny insults fast enough, yet Bethenny hasn’t said much about it. Maybe if Carole started rocking a Skinnygirl logo, Bethenny would pay some public attention to her.
During the last episode of Real Housewives of New York, the cast went speed dating. A man with a red scarf purposely went to that event just so he could talk to Bethenny. Ramona Singer went out of her way to get that same red scarf-wearing man a tequila. Meanwhile, Carole’s friend (who orchestrated the event) invited that guy with the intent of setting him up with Carole. Oops.
Bethenny dished on the episode in a Bravo blog post. Apparently Bethenny is saving all of her good one-liners for another moment because she didn’t talk any shit in the entire blog post. Instead, she talked about dating and the event they all attended.
Bethenny admitted, “It takes guts to be open, and I really tried to engage as much as possible.”
Then she addressed the Red Scarf interaction: “It was so funny running into Brian, AKA ‘red scarf.’ From what little I know, I thought he was a super nice guy who I texted later that PM to set up with Carole.” That’s nice, I guess. Or at least it seemed nice, until she shaded him in the next sentence of her blog.
Bethenny said, “He is a pursuer and the guy who texts you after one date to say he will take care of you when you’re sick. When you meet someone, you’re also weeding them out for your friends. I thought it was very endearing that he was so honest about coming there to see me. That was sweet and takes courage also.” That was really sweet. But this Briana guy didn’t get the memo that Bethenny refuses to share anything about her personal life on this show anymore.
Bethenny explained, “Maybe I think I’m open but actually not really. My entire life revolves around Bryn and during the time I’m not with her is when I jam all of my business in with a scramble to cover grays and get a manicure. Dating is brutal. At this age, I do find that dating online or with a matchmaker is probably wise, but I really dread it. I love stories, fate, and the moment.” But it will most likely be FAR away from the Real Housewives of New York cameras.
TELL US- WHAT DID YOU THINK OF RED SCARF GUY? WAS HE A GOOD MATCH FOR BETHENNY, RAMONA, CAROLE, OR NONE OF THEM? WILL BETHENNY & CAROLE BE ABLE TO GET THEIR FRIENDSHIP BACK ON TRACK?
