Considering that Denise Richards only gave her dress designer 24 hours to make something for her surprise wedding to Aaron Phypers, no one should be giving the outfit flack. In all honesty, why does anyone care about what someone else wore to her wedding? But apparently, a lot of people took issue with the new Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member wearing a romper for her big day.
In an interview with People, The Beverly Hills Housewife explained, “I didn’t want to do a traditional wedding dress. She added, “I wore a traditional dress for my first wedding, so I wanted something different this time.”
Denise shared, “My dress was actually a romper which was perfect since we left the reception on Aaron’s motorcycle.”
Then she got into the backlash, saying, “I didn’t know there were so many opinions on what I wore.” Still, she insists, “I stopped reading stuff about me online a long time ago. I loved what I wore — it was fun and sexy and I thought appropriate for a Malibu wedding by the beach.”
Not only did she give her designer Mark Zunino 24 hours to make the dress, but she also admitted that she gave her wedding planner just 48 hours to plan the event.
